Reinhardt Viljoen

Reinhardt Viljoen was appointed General Director of KAZ Minerals Aktogay effective 1 January 2026. Prior to his appointment, he served as Director of the Aktogay Concentrator. He has over 30 years of international experience in managing mining and metallurgical operations. Reinhardt Viljoen possesses strong professional expertise in production operations, mineral processing, asset and project management, organisational development, and people management. Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership positions at BHP, Glencore, MMG, and Nyrstar, as well as at major mining and processing operations across Australia, Africa, and South America. He joined the KAZ Minerals Group on 1 December 2025.
